01

Begin with exposure

A sheltered entrance and a west-facing garage door do not live the same life. Sun, driving rain, standing water and ventilation should shape the finish specification.

02

Preparation is the system

End grain, joints, glazing details and the sequence of primer and topcoats matter as much as the final colour. The finish succeeds when the construction supports it.

03

Choose colour in context

Deep colours can give joinery presence; lighter tones can emphasise mouldings and rhythm. Large approved samples reveal undertone and sheen far better than a small screen swatch.
